What a racket!!
Garlic is proving to be a bit of a noisy tart – we cannot blame the arrival of Pepper; she was noisy before he turned up and our hope had in fact been that she may be a tad quieter with him around. No such luck!! She, and to a lesser extent Onion, bleat to be let out in the mornings and then around 3pm/4pm bleat to be let back in. It is, we are sure, all about food as they get fed as soon as we open up their stalls around 8am ish and they have their supper between 5pm and 6pm once they are back inside.
Relaxed at Home
Boer goats do have a bit of a reputation for being quite noisy but we had not realised quite how long one goat is capable of bleating for. The phrase ‘bleating on’ has now taken on a whole new meaning!!!
