Our daily feeding of the cows is going well with regards to them being happy to come in the field shelter and for us to move amongst them and touch them, BUT the rains of the last 48 hours have created rather a lot of mud underfoot. So plan B is to use our 4-wheel trolley as a movable rack and give them their hay in the field for a while. We can still get close and personal as the photos show but in the interests of preserving our land, being able to change the hay feeding location each day is a definite must. By the way, we have NO idea why Sage’s head is so filthy. Her calf’s is not much better!!!!
