Back to waiting...
STILL no more lambs and we are actually now having doubts that Lamorna is pregnant at all. She is three days overdue which is not a long time over but she is just not behaving as though she might be about to give birth. She is large although a lot of that may be her fleece but otherwise she is pretty lively, is constantly eating and as mentioned yesterday, her udder has not dropped at all. Mrs Brown is now four days overdue but looking back at previous years; she has been this overdue before so we are not worried. She is definitely in lamb: she is far more tired than Lamorna, lies down a lot and is also gigantic (and that includes her udder too). Mrs B has consistently lambed in the mornings with 8/8.30am being ‘her’ time so fingers crossed we may find a couple more twins tomorrow morning!!
Relaxed at Home
And so it's another lamb picture: expect a fair few more of these over the next few weeks.
Only minor scraps today in the poultry pen...
