Under cover!
The wet continues and so today we decided to put the sheep and alpacas inside field shelters for a while and give the land a bit of a rest. The four-acre really is starting to suffer in places. We brought both sets of animals into the top three-acre fields and used the double shelter there. It is usually used by the goats but they are currently shut in the barn with Carlos as we continue to wait for Sorrel to come into season (tomorrow is day 21 since her last one and so the last day we would normally expect to see a return, fingers crossed...).
Relaxed at Home
The sheep seemed content enough to be in, the alpacas less so. The top three-acre is VERY grassy (although wet) and so we MAY allow the alpacas a bit of grazing time, we will review tomorrow
