Soaking up the sun
Another lovely day, blue skies, dry, slight wind AND a mild frost. The goats had a bit of a wander today and, as Onion is so beautifully demonstrating, a bit of a soaking-up-of-the-sun time too!.
Relaxed at Home
The ground is obviously wet in places still but as goats hate walking through wet and mud, they tend to avoid the really squelchy places. At one point we even saw Sorrel and family grazing. Pebbles and Onion headed down to the corner where the tree is overhanging and had another browse although there is not a lot left now where they can reach. We may need to look at chopping it down properly before it falls down. Plenty of sunshine in the 4-acre field too where the sheep and alpacas are. They have been heads down grazing all day, the hay trolley and racks all remaining very untouched.
