Unbelievably we put the cows back outside today! And even more unbelievably, they are back in the bottom 3-acre which is usually the wettest field. Parts are definitely a bit damp still but most of it has dried out well this last week and there is still quite a bit of grass in there too. We cannot quite believe our luck. In total this winter, the cows have spent just 13 weeks inside – that is HALF of the total from last year. We don’t know if they will need to come back in but we really really hope not!!
