Yep, we are officially very very wet. This is the poultry area and a view of our willow patch in the making – the idea being to use all our old wood/fence posts etc to cover the worst of the puddles/ponds and then plant a load of willow inbetween. This hopefully will mean less mud and if the willow take off, a lot of the excess water being soaked up by the willow roots, willow of course being damp-loving trees. The area beyond this patch is still, as the photo shows, very grassy and so we hope to sort it so that access to that grass is not via quite such a mud bath as exists now. It is definitely work in progress!!
