It was a bit of a shock at corn time this evening, to find a somewhat poorly Gloria. She was opening and shutting her beak, obviously struggling to breathe and sounding very raspy!! We had some poultry meds from last summer, used specifically for respiratory issues and whilst out of date, we felt it was better than nothing to give her some and see if they had an effect. Of course Saturday night is a rubbish time for an animal to be ill. It is somewhat ironic that her first goslings are due tomorrow... fingers crossed she pulls though.
