As we said yesterday, the sheep and alpacas are starting to disappear in the long grass in the bottom 3-acre and so we decided to move the cows in there with them. This leaves the top 3-acre just for the rhea and geese, who won’t keep up but will have a jolly good go. It may be that we have to top this field if too much goes to seed but we shall see, Moving the cows and calves went a bit quicker this time as the calves sort of behaved themselves and didn’t give us the run around quite so much as before. And then of course being a new field, they all shot off for the obligatory run, tails up and cales leading the way. Heaven to watch!!
