Sloopy poo and wormer resistance not withstanding (!!), how we are enjoying our goats this year. We enjoy them every year but this year’s kids are such a friendly, healthy bunch and have such great relationships with their mums. We communally feed in the afternoons with food that suits everyone but no matter how many troughs and truggs we put out we always have a mass of goats trying to feed from the same one. The idea is that there is one trough per family - it sort of starts off by working but then descends into chaos. We always supervise though to make sure everyone is able to feed right to the end so they all get their fair share – more or less!!.
