These three chicks must have a bit of an identity crisis: as developing embryos, their eggs were sat on by at least three different mums and the 'mum' they have ended up with (Queenie's daughter), is not the main mum who did most of the incubating (which was in fact one of Quennie's great grandchildren). They are Leghorn crosses and we hope will end up being as pretty as their older siblings hatched back in May and last mentioned on 22nd June – those ones obviously had our Orpington cockerel as their dad. Time will tell if these are the same.
