At the start of the month Nay went awol for a day which in eight years of her living with us was a first. We had pretty much convinced ourselves that she was not coming back and then around 2.30am, almost exactly 24 hours since she was last seen and when Jack decided she could wait up no longer... she began miaowing outside the study door and in typical cat fashion, when we opened it, she walked in like nothing had happened.
She is now missing again and this time it has been longer than 24 hours. We are hopeful but worried as well as muttering phrases like 'little madam'... fingers crossed we have good news tomorrow.
