Gang of eight
They are a wonderfully cohesive group, our West of England geese. The female, as well as all having different markings s all have slightly different behaviours and levels of confidence too. The males are harder to distinguish because physically we cannot really tell them apart and the only way we can work out who is Syvester's brother (and therfore dad or uncle to the other two) is because he is the least shy!!
Relaxed at Home
They do however spend a LOT of time on the concrete apron and paving slabs, providing plenty of 'sweeping' opportunties for Jack. She is obviously very grateful, shovelling poo being one of her favouraite smallholding tasks!!!!!
