Today we sold all our remaining lambs. It was a bit of a shock actually as we have had them advertised for months on our website and Sell My Livestock but have neither renewed the ads on the latter nor posted any facebook etc links to the former for absolutely ages. We were rung mid-morning by a chap in South Devon and by 3pm, they were paid for, loaded up and away.
It is excellent news because we can now concentatre on the ewes, our feed and bedding bills should now halve and we won't have to pay for a trip to the abattoir and end up with more meat for our already very full freezers!!
We will miss them though cos we had got used to having them around!!!
