Most days we escape to the woods with the dogs for a good hour's walk: it's a chance to talk and plan and share ideas about the smallholding in general and some of the livestrck in particular. We usually have something on our minds and often by the end of the walk, a plan of action has been worked out and decided. Today's topic: the cows!!!!
