Thyme on the mend?
A glimmer of hope today as Thyme definitely seemed a little better. Her walking, although still wobbly, was perhaps not quite so wobbly and even better, she was much happier to stand and allow us to stroke her! After Thursday when we had to restrain her so Rachel could check her over and give her three injections, she understandably, has been a little wary of us. Today we felt we were slightly getting our relationship back. It is very important to us that all our animals trust us as much as possible firstly because it makes it a lot easier to be able to check them over and examine them and generally keep an eye on them, but also because it makes our interactions with them much more enjoyable – hopefully for them as well as us!!

Sage is still pregnant but continues to be delightfully mellow with it and Parsley and her calf are just delightful. Parsley is quite a laid back mum and is happy for us to approach the calf, although the calf itself is a tad wary of us. He is at that wonderful stage of being curious but a tad scared so he will come bounding over and then stop a few metres away to ‘give us the eye’! He still looks cute with it though!!
