Our bulling observations are not quite going to plan. Sage, seen here using the land trailer to have a jolly good scratch, is due back in season now. Today is in fact 20 days after her last bullying, the usual interval range being given as 18-21 days!! There is no sign at the moment! Parsley, who we were really chuffed about because despite her seasons being quite subtle, we thought we had caught two, bang on 18 days apart; then totally threw us by having a full blown ‘cannot help but see it’ bullying session a mere NINE days after her last one!! In other words, her last one had obviously NOT been a season at all (even though we had seen a mucusy string at her back end!).
And then there is Thyme, currently 50 days after calving and no signs whatsoever.
We are hopeful it will all come together at some stage!!! (Fingers crossed)
