We can count 15 ducklings here but there were actually 17 in total. It was an amazing sight seeing them all so huddled up together. Just out of shot are both Banana and Berry, keeping an eye (or four) on them. It has been a day of swapping mums today – we have become dizzy with counting and have had a fair few panics too when we count less with some mums than we think should be there, only to find more with another mum somewhere else And amongst all the chaos we still have Orange and her one yellow chap together or rather many times they aren’t; Orange will be having a wash or a drink and little junior is metres way asleep in the grass. If we stay long enough we then get to witness one or both of them panic and rush to find each other again before eventually one wanders off and we get the whole panic and reunion once again!!! We could spend hours watching them: we probably do – they are irresistible!!
