We’ve had the tail end of Storm ‘Gert’ today – torrential rain this morning and high winds this afternoon and evening – and in between we got this, sunshine and a bit of blue sky. This view is so Devonian, so English and the irony was not lost on us that we have Badger Face sheep from Wales and Shetland sheep from… well, Shetland, grazing in the foreground. Then again, out of shot we have alpacas from South America and Boer goats that originated in Africa…. (probably best not to think about the origins of all our poultry..)!
