This handsome chap is a Jubilee Indian Game cockerel. For quite a while we were convinced he was a she but the crowing soon convinced us otherwise. He is a very heavy, thick set bird and we are now considering keeping him and one of the Dark Indian game cockerels so that we get a mix of IGs next year and the potential for some good sized crosses for meat. We are not entirely sure how the colourings work with IGs and what will happen to any eggs from our Dark IG girls that are fertilized by the Jubilee boy – we need to ask the experts (from the official IG Club).
Our lady from Wales did not get back to us about wanting the IGs we have for sale so we need get them advertised (as well as the sheep, the ducks, the IG crosses, the calves….)
