The goats are loving the dry weather as much as all our other stock and as they have the top 3-acre field all to themselves, they are able to pick off the best grass. This field is quite lush compared to the 4-acre as it has not been fully grazed for several weeks. We may even consider putting the sheep back in here for a while, although it is quite wet in places and some of the goats have had a bit of scald because of this. It is lovely seeing the goats graze together like this. We are not looking forward to when we have to separate the kids from Sorrel –it is going to be very noisy!!
