Today was the most glorious day with blue skies and sunshine and warmth. We could actually hear the mud drying!! All the animals made the most of it and at one point the goats could be seen at the bottom of the top 3-acre grazing on the grass. The poultry headed for the compost heap where extra warmth was to be found as the pile steamed away in the sunshine. And the cows stood, as Parsley is demonstrating so beautifully, with eyes closed, soaking up the warmth of the sun’s rays!!! It was the kind of day when we felt spring really was not too far away…..
