Feeding Pluto!
We weaned Pluto at the end of November but since then we have had no luck getting him to eat any of the hard pellets. At first we put some in his mouth for a few days, in the hope he would then start to eat them on his own. He didn’t. We then thought he might naturally start to eat them as we began to feed them daily to the whole group. He didn’t. We tried a bit more ‘straight into the mouth’ feeding again but other than being spat at by a very protective Mercury, we achieved zilch (not that being spat at is an achievement!!).
Pluto is thinner than Mars and is not quite as tall, he is not really underweight we don’t think but we would like to see a bit more on him. It is difficult to know what to do.
A thought was to give him a bit more mik, Mars is still taking from Venus but we are not sure if he would take it and whether it would be good for him now. Time to take a bit of advice!!! |
