Today we shut off access to both 3-acre fields and moved all the animals back into the very lush 4-acre. Incredibly it has been a mere five weeks since we moved them out after a very long winter in there. It is just amazing how well the grass has grown back and our hearts really soared as we watched cows, sheep, alpacas and then goats, get their heads down and start munching. The 4-acre is also of course surrounded on three sides with fabulous hedging so there is literally masses of browsing for the goats too.
