Badger Faces
These are Mrs White’s twins, looking every bit like Badger face lambs, even though they are half Shetland. Although Mr Brown, our ram, is a black Shetland ram, the badger face markings are common in the Shetland breed and as such it is no surprise to see them so clearly in a Badger face cross. The Shetland society have even now recognized these specific markings and now have a colour variation called ‘Light Badgerface’.
These two aren’t as stock as Mrs Brown’s lambs despite being the same cross but it will be interesting how they compare at six/seven months when they are weaned!!!
