After a bit of a colder spell of the last couple of weeks, we are now heading back towards warmer temperatures and a lot more sunshine, June has been however, phenomenally dry with less than 5% of the usual rainfall here in the south. We would dearly love some rain to green up some areas of the holding but we cannot complain about the amount of grass we have. Already we can see a fair bit of re-growth in the 4-acre, which has only been empty for less than a week!!
This evening was lovely, we had a really nice wander round all the animals in their fields and paddocks and felt hugely grateful for the current lack of ill health or any serious concerns. Our young stock this year, all seems especially fit and healthy!! And of course cute!!!
