And so we welcome our tenth dog ever and our current sixth. This is Stonefly: a female Irish setter bred by Kate Condron from Knowle, Barnstable. Stonefly was actually booked to come and live with us before Roxy arrived on the scene but as the plan always seems to be with us to get two puppies at once, here we are with a two month old and a nine month old!! It's all a little bit strange because after a mere few hours we feel Stonefly has been here for ages - she has settled in beautifully. She is confident and happy and has been getting on like a house on fire with all the other dogs.
We very much hope to breed from her when the time comes, as we do with Roxy... as if goats, cows, sheep and poultry isn’t enough!!!
