It's always good to have help when undertaking those 'little jobs' on the smallholding!!! This was one of those jobs that needed doing a while ago (making the play station a bit more secure) but with the current, continuing heat wave, the kind of job it was eay to put off!!! We began this diary two years ago today and in both 2017 and 2016, 1st August was wet. What a contrast to this summer: we may have had rain over the weekend but you wouldn't know it now and as to whether the grass is growing, well maybe, just a little bit.... Whether it will carry on growing is another question.
