In VERY exciting news we have found a new hay and straw supplier and although we are having to pay a lot for our bales (£5 as opposed to £3 or so), it is such good quality we aren’t too worried. Our new supplier is a hauiler and so travels all over the country to source it, hence the price. He is sure he can supply us all year though and so, at the moment, we feel that is also worth paying the extra for.
We have celebrated with a full clean out of both the barn and the poultry stable and now have very happy goats and birds!!!
