The grass in the 4-acre is really looking great and this is despite having 15 sheep, 4 alpacas, 6 cows and 8 goats tucking in…..
And really chuffed with how well the calves are doing. The heifer (in front) has really caught up with her slightly older brother (by a day) and the size difference is not that marked now. They are such characters and we often catch them having a good ‘ole run around together. We love it how they stand and stare at us: a little too nervous to get really close but we do get the occasional sniff.
We are expecting Caraway to star bulling any day now – but still no sign from Thyme...
