Our sheep continue to be a happy, healthy group but we do need to progress our plans for the lambs. We have sold just one so far this year, a wether who has gone to be a companion to a ram. This leaves us with four ewe lambs and four more wethers, and as our meat consumption continues to go down, it is unlikely we are going to want more than two in the freezer again. Our initial advertising brought very little interest so we need to try again. We really don’t want to keep any more stock through the winter than we have to!! Although, a with the goats we have enjoyed having all the youngsters around for so long!!
