We are still feeding tomatoes to the poultry and trying when we do so, to ensure the turkeys and geese don’t get to snaffle them all. This plucky Indian Game cross got seriously stuck in this afternoon and managed to get one all to herself. These tomatoes have all come straight from our greenhouse to the poultry. If they had gone into our kitchen en route, then due to the risk of cross contamination with meat products, it would have been illegal to have then fed it to the birds!
