Sheltering!
Today has been hideously wet with really strong winds too, worse than yesterday which was bad enough. Everything is just about holding up aside from the back entrance to the new barn which is letting in too much rain and wind. We opened up so the goats could go back into the old barn last night in order to be a bit more sheltered and they voted with their feet as this morning it was obvious they had slept in there.
Tomorrow we are collecting Soldier, the Boer bill we are using to mate with the girls. Onion was in season today, fingers crossed she is tomorrow so and is receptive. We have dates for Sorrell and Pebbles’ next seasons and if all goes to plan we should have due dates in the middle of May next year! Perfect!!!
