The bottom 3-acre field is definitely holding up after all the rain and the field shelter entrance is too – we put the spent hay that the cows drop from their hay trolly in the entrance as a 'doormat' - and it makes a big difference.
Just love the cows being out and taking them a bit of feed and hay every day – the calves are getting tamer because of it which will make things easier (and safer) when we do bring them in.
