36 hours of rain have taken their toll and we are somewhat squelchy in places with mud creep in others. We are dry where we need to be mind you and so very chuffed that each winter we seem a little bit more able to cope with what the weather throws at us.
The morning rounds, mucking out and topping up hays and straws were a delight. Who cannot fail to be charmed by the sight of two calves happily munching on their barley straw bedding, not a care in the world?
