A deliciously warm, sunny day with a frosty early start and a cold, red end and pretty much endless sunshine and blie skies in between. The goat shelter needed a mammoth muck out this morning after the goats had an 'all-day-and-all-nighter' due to yesterday's and last night's rain but this evening neither the barn nor the field shelter looked like they had been near them at all. Ditto the sheep and cow shelters.
BUT the ground is sodden still…. we would like it to be well into November before we bring the cows in... will we make it??
