We usually don't need to wean our lambs as they get sold or go off to the abbatoir by the end of the summer/ early Autumn. This year though we still have 3 ewe lambs to sell and the 3 ram lambs aren't due to go off for another week and a bit! Today though, we separated them all from their mums because tomorow Mr Brown arrives back with us to once more be a husband to the ewes and we certainly don't want him mating with his daughters from last year, or being distacted by his sons.
We are now in for a noisy few days!!!
