A great shot of some of our young pullets, bred here on the Relaxed smallholding this spring. It is even possible that the Jubllee Indian Game cockerel on the right, is the dad of a few, although we are fairly sure that Mr Buff, our Buff Orpington boy, is reponsible for the orange colouring in some of these. Hopefully some will start laying before too long which will be a welcome event: currently we are getting just 4 or 5 eggs a day if we are lucky - and of one those is a duck egg from one of this year's hatch!!!
