Graeme from Torch Vets came to TB test today - to be honest we don't usually worry too much about the testing because we know we have done all we can to reduce the risk (closed herd, no licks on the ground to attract badgers, good bio-security etc) plus of course we are not near any other cattle. Of course, 'this' TB test is being done so we can sell the herd and so we are way more worried than normal: completely irrational but understandable we guess.
As a slight distraction we got Grame to scan Thyme and we were more than happy to have it confirmed she is indeed in calf. We passed this on the Sarah and Andrew, the new owners to be!!! Smiles all round whilst we now wait for the magical 'all clear' on Monday!!!
