Today we did indeed bring the sheep inside. It has been another day of winds and rain, although some dry bits too, and even a glimpse of sunshine at one point.. but the land is soaking, the mud is getting slippier and we do after all have the inside space now, since moving on the cows. The alpacas were moved back to their shelter and the sheep are where they had been, in the old cow barn. The only animals now permanently outside are the rhea and they of course studiously ignore their shelter. The ducks, chickens, turkeys and geese are having an impact on the land but at least they shut in every night.
Every day till the end of the month is forecast rain, save one!!! And we have now ring the abbatoir about those wethers!!
