Another hour or two was spent on the fencing today, both gateposts are now in and the smaller fencing posts measured and laid out. It was hard work but really satisfying. And in between digging and thumping in posts, we talked about the actual growing we will be doing and what we hope to put where. Runner beans is a priority for Jack - mainly because growing them will remind her so much of her mum and picking them together and eating the smaller ones raw. And then chopping them diagonally to cook them and knowing that if there were no stringy edges to peel off, they were at their most perfect!! Scrummy!!
