Identifying fungi and slime moulds on our land
The following fungi and slime moulds have all been identified using Obsidentify and/or i-Record as well as books and websites such as First Nature, Nature Spot and the British Mycological Society facebook group. In the case of Obsidentify and i-Record, identification was only accepted if it was 90% or above certain (in more than half the entries it was 95% or above certain). All were identified using photographs. We hope in the near future that any records submitted to Obsidentify and i-Record may well be verified by a human and/or verification may be made by fungi experts who visit our land.. watch this space.
So, in other words, we are not guaranteeing these IDs are 100% accurate.
